Our Craft & Culture Tours
To experience the work and culture of Thai artisans, our small group tours visit village homes of craft producers who are partners with the Thai Fair Trade organization, ThaiCraft. We provide you with the opportunity to meet the people behind the products and to see at first hand the impact of Fair Trade practices. You will have a chance to learn about the various local cultures and to see development projects involved in preserving and developing the crafts of Thailand. This is much more than a holiday; you are the welcome guests of Thailand鈥檚 craft producers!
Phu Phiang offers day trips, overnight excursions and extended tours with a variety of routes and activities to choose from. Many of our tours are generalist, so that you get to experience many different craft types, village regions and cultural ethnicities, while others are specific to one type of craftwork, such as weaving. Our tours visit all the main regions of Thailand and many of the lesser-known regions too!
